Worst film adaptation of a book ever.
Hello there. I recently did a pair of posts for OverDrive (the company for which I work) on movies that were books first. There’s a list of movies that have already come out, and a list of movies that are yet to be.
No, this isn’t an official OverDrive post.
I figure these lists are, at the very least, a guide to see what all the hype is about in the wonderful world of books right now. After all, they generally don’t make movies about books that aren’t making some kind of waves. In any case, I’m betting that every book on these two lists will be/was better than Battlefield Earth.
- Post 1, movies that were first books in 2013.
- Post 2, movies that shall soon be (but were books first).
In the second post, you can ignore the bit about promoting these books at your library (unless you work at a library). Oh, and I plan on making these “Looking for something to read” posts a regular thing!
